Hendricks County Prosecutor's Office

The Hendricks County Prosecuting Attorney Office’s mission is to seek justice for victims of crime, our community, and the citizens of the State Indiana. To do so, we partner with other law enforcement agencies throughout the county and state to promote greater public safety in our schools, businesses and community. Our office strives to maintain the highest level of integrity while treating all those that come into contact with the criminal justice system with dignity and respect.

The Prosecutor’s Office seeks justice, supports victims, and promotes public safety. We work with law enforcement and the community to hold offenders accountable and uphold the law with fairness and integrity.

Criminal Division

The Criminal Division prosecutes adult felony and misdemeanor cases. Our team works with police to investigate crimes, file charges, and represent the state in court.

Victim Assistance

Our Victim Assistance Program helps crime victims understand their rights, navigate the legal system, and access support services throughout the court process.

Diversion/ Deferral

Diversion and deferral programs offer eligible individuals a chance to avoid conviction by completing requirements like community service or counseling, promoting accountability and rehabilitation.

Child Support

The Child Support Division helps custodial parents establish and enforce support orders, ensuring children receive the financial support they need.

Outreach

We engage with the community through public safety events and educational programs to build trust and promote understanding of the justice system.
